Through a panoramic and flat path, accessible to all, it is possible to go in search of the Hermitage of the Desert of Varazze. This botanical path offers the hiker a luxuriant green spectacle with various plant species indicated by signs.
The loop trail, about 2 km long, is dotted with small chapels, called Romitori, in which the barefoot Carmelite Fathers used to take refuge to contemplate in the midst of nature. Through this botanical path you can also reach the Hermitage of the Desert, a seventeenth-century complex that still houses the Convent of the Friars.
